In our opinion, RSS feeds are like newspapers, only digital. However, now it seems that Microsoft went ahead with their plan and is all ready to test out their new RSS feed. But the idea was later dropped and they did not continue with it. Then, according to various sources, it was understood that both Microsoft and Google were working on bringing back the feature to their respective web browsers. However, with the introduction of Microsoft Edge Chromium, the feature was also left behind.

Microsoft Edge Legacy earlier had the ability to update and notify the users of a new post that was published by a subscribed domain.
